Beer Can Chicken

Do you need an easy way to cook a whole chicken? Are you tired of using chicken seasoning for your chicken?! Look no further!

This is soooooo easy! Even Paul can do it ;)…..

4 primary ingredients, 15 min prep, 90 to 120 min cook time, DELICIOUS!

Schoentrup Farms Chicken *

16oz beer or bigger, of your choosing!

  1. Preheat the outdoor grill for medium-high heat, about 375 degrees F. Crack open beer, enjoy half of that beer!
  2. Rinse chicken under cold running water. Drain and pat dry. Season the chicken with a small amount of salt and pepper. No need for additional seasoning! Our Chicken tastes like chicken! Fit whole chicken over the can of beer with the legs on the bottom; keep upright. Make sure you continue to stay hydrated with your favorite beer while cooking!
  3. Place the chicken, standing on the can, directly on the preheated grill. Close the lid and cook the chicken until no longer pink at the bone and the juices run clear, about 1 hour 30 minutes. A thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the thigh, near the bone should read 180 degrees F. Remove the chicken from the grill and discard the beer can. Allow to rest in a warm area for 10 minutes before slicing.

Make sure you comment with your photos! This is one of our favorite ways to cook a whole chicken!
